11" X 15" Watercolor and Pen and Ink on Strathmore Vellum Bristol
This is something I finished yesterday, but started about 4 years ago. It was almost done except for the pen and ink, and some failure to paint in some watercolor on the dragons hand and other small details. It is an illustration to a Chinese story that my student Amy Lee wanted to illustrate. She told me the story, and we both chose different parts to draw and paint. Amy is a DA member but I don't know her Avtar, she's at Berkley going to college and now I'm teaching her brother. Hope you like this slightly different Dragon.

I really really like this one, from the beautiful rendition to the color scheme for it!

Thank you! I love dragons, especially firebreathing ones. It would be nice to have a pet dragon as long as they were civilized and didn't want to bite anyone!

well, depends on if you believe dragons are raging monsters (cute ones) or ancient wisedom keepers... lol but yeah, it would be pretty cool.

Wow! This is my favorite dragon of yours! :D
It is definitely asian looking without being overboard. Nice lighting on the scales and I love the fire and the wave.

May I use this in a noncommercial video that is a tribute to chinese/oriental dragons? I will give credit!

I'm sorry but I wish to make prints in the future of this painting, and thus do not want it to be published anywhere else in any medium at the present time. Thank you very much for asking! Annie
